Ash is our youngest  mixed age class and their class teacher is Miss Blackler.  Mrs Ryan, an experienced teaching assistant, works in the class every morning and our parents and governors provide additional support to our pupils during many of the other times. To enhance learning further, we have an interactive whiteboard in Ash.

Ash is part of the 'Foundation Stage' of learning and has its own very specific learning expectations and goals. Once the children have completed their 'Foundation Stage', they then start Key Stage One.

In Ash we have all the Reception pupils (the 'Foundation Stage') and some of our Year 1 pupils. The class is usually about 20 pupils enabling us to offer every child a very successful start to formal education.
